Jody first came to yoga back in 2001 at the advice of her doctor after suffering from migraines. While yoga provided the “medicine” she needed to relieve her pain, it wasn’t until 2008 that she truly found yoga and began practicing seriously. After moving to Atlanta in 2011 to start a new job, Jody found her yoga home at Active Sol where her practice began to flourish. With the stresses of work, she relied on her practice to bring her back to center and provide the mental clarity to tackle the chaotic corporate world that she had just entered. It wasn’t long before she found herself wanting to become more dedicated to her yoga practice and learn more about yoga philosophy.
Jody completed her 200-Hour RYT teacher training at Active Sol in 2014. She is most drawn to Vinyasa yoga and tries to attend as many workshops and events around the area to experience and learn from other instructors. Her classes are grounded in Vinyasa yoga with varying sequences to allow students to explore their potential and find their yoga path.
