Lisa attended her first yoga class on a whim during college. After years of on-again, off-again practice, something clicked internally and she was drawn into a more consistent, dedicated Vinyasa flow practice. This practice has become her oasis, which allows for heightened self-awareness, connectedness, and introspection. She decided to deepen her yoga study by pursuing her teacher training certification in 2014. Always curious, she continues to read, explore and practice with the intent of continuously evolving as a student, as a teacher, and as a human being.
Lisa loves the playfulness and self-exploration of Vinyasa flow, and aims to incorporate this spirit into each of her classes. She will encourage you to breathe deeply, to focus on the present moment, and to find the delicate balance between hard and soft in your practice. When she’s not in the studio, Lisa can be found exploring the city with her husband, or playing with Dash, her favorite four-legged downward facing dog.
