Silvana’s journey and passion for yoga began five years ago in her home country, Chile. In 2014 Silvana moved to Atlanta, where practicing yoga helped and supported her through a time of drastic change and necessary adaptation. Soon after her arrival to Atlanta, she  enrolled in a 200 hour yoga teaching program, under the direction of Graham Fowler, at the Peachtree Yoga Center. After completing her 200 RYT certification in 2015, Silvana felt the need for growth, and wanted to use her ability to educate by sharing her knowledge and experiences through teaching yoga. In every interaction she shares with her students, Silvana hopes to share feelings of joy and support, while encouraging self awareness.
Her background as a physical therapist supports her vision of yoga and strengthens her understanding of the body’s function and alignment. Silvana leads with concern for student’s safety, protecting them from injuries and strains, while providing a comfortable, accepting atmosphere.
For Silvana, every class is different, giving her the opportunity to communicate that yoga is so much more than getting into a pose: it is the union between the body, mind, and spirit working together as a whole
